Emergency Powers Statutes and American Dictatorship

Few people are aware of the Emergency Powers Statutes and the fact that since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a declared state of national emergency. Most people living today have been born into this system of government. This fact was brought out by Senate Report # 93- 000 of September, 1973. I found this senate report while doing legal research in 1996. The first paragraph of the "Introduction," written by senators Church and Mathias, states: "A majority of the people of the United States have lived all of their lives under emergency rule..... freedoms and governmental procedures guaranteed by the Constitution have, in varying degrees, been abridged by laws brought into force by states of national emergency."
The emergency began when Congress surrendered enormous powers to the executive branch of government when Franklin D. Roosevelt took office in 1933. A great mass of legislation written in the executive branch by non-elected officials in Roosevelt's cabinet was rubber-stamped by Congress in violation of Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution. The Constitution grants the executive branch no legislative powers. The emergency powers were further expanded by presidents Truman and Nixon in 1950 and 1971, respectively. There can be little doubt that the emergency powers were further expanded by rubber-stamped executive legislation that came into being shortly after the 9-11 attacks. As the senate committee stated in the third paragraph of the "Foreword" of their report: "Under the powers delegated by these statutes, the President may: seize property; organize and control the means of production; seize commodities; assign military forces abroad; institute martial law; seize and control all transportation and communication; regulate the operation of private enterprise; restrict travel; and, in a plethora of particular ways, control the lives of all American citizens."
When I discovered these powers that are hidden from the public view, I thought that the person who was then president, Bill Clinton, may be the one who would start a world war so that he could invoke these powers. This would have made him the American Dictator and your privilege of voting would probably be gone. After all, like many other people, I watched the Clinton Chronicles videos and the corruption that was hidden from public view was appalling. While governor of Arkansas, Clinton was involved in drug smuggling and money laundering. The Mena, Arkansas drug smuggling operation brought in around $100 million per month. Several people were brutally murdered to silence them. Clinton's body guards estimated that his sexual partners while governor were around 100, and there is more. All the evidence proving these things did not even see the light of day before congressional hearings even though every member of Congress was presented with the evidence and witnesses that were flown into Washington D.C. before the Whitewater hearings began were barred from giving testimony that would prove Clinton's involvement in drug smuggling and money laundering. This is one of the main reasons I do not believe that we are being told the truth today about 9-11 and the march to war, for the same political parties, and the same media and press who hid the truth about Clinton from us are still the ones that rule over us and feed our minds today.

One of the murders is described by Gary Parks, son of murder victim Jerry Parks. An excerpt from Gary's interview states: "My father was Luther Gerald Parks, AKA Jerry Parks. He was the head of Clinton's security for Clinton's inaugural campaign whenever he was running for President. My father was brutally murdered at Chenal Parkway and Arkansas Highway 10 in one of the most elite parts of Little Rock, Arkansas. Someone pulled aside, alongside of him, and started shooting at him. They cornered him, stopped him on Highway 10 as he was turning left onto Highway 10 off of Chenal Parkway. They stepped out of the car after blocking his path. He was shot five times, once in the leg, once in the arm, three times in the chest. My father had a file on Bill Clinton's infidelity and his affairs that ran from approximately '82, '83 to somewhere between 'til about '90 to '91."
Shortly before Jerry's death, the phone lines at his home were cut, the security system was disconnected and the Clinton files were stolen. A coincidence? Nobody has been arrested in connection with Jerry's murder. If the media and the pres of this country deliberately hides the truth from the people, they cannot be trusted to tell the people the truth about anything. I shall never blindly believe what they tell me ever again.
However, Mr. Bush is pushing hard for war, and the propaganda campaign to convince the people that we should go to war against a third rate power that poses no viable threat to us and doesn't stand a chance against the U.S. military has been successful in convincing the majority of people.
When I discovered these emergency powers I knew that somewhere down the line a president would come into power that would seize upon these powers and make himself the American Dictator. I suppose Clinton was too preoccupied with chasing women, but Bush seems to be pretty serious about starting a war that many other nations and many people of rest of the world are against. The military buildup in the Middle East region continues, and only time will tell the tale.
The only war that will result in lasting peace is the war the Bible calls Armageddon.
