Hello everyone.

I see you discuss an interesting and serious subject. I understand why many in the US are sceptic to Arab nations, especially those that have weapond of mass destruction. However, it's not the Iraqi children that were responsible for the tragic 9/11 attacks. Actually, even though Saddam Hussein is a bastard, he's an enemy of al-Quaida, because al-Quaida don't want secular leaders to rule predominantly Muslim countries. Saddam is a secular ruler, like western leaders, he's not religious. Saddam can't actually be linked to al-Quaida, no matter how evil he is. Yes, Saddam should be hanged or shot or thrown in some ocean, but bombing a whole country is a very drastic measure to get rid of ONE person. Well, I guess the US-British coalition want to get rid of the whole regime, which is more than one person. But getting rid of the leader makes the regime crumble. I believe it was UNESCO that published a figure of how many children had died as a direct result of the UN embargo on Iraq. The figure was a staggering 500.000 Iraqi children! All those children had to die just because of that embargo! Saddam has built palaces during the embargo, he's not suffering! It doesn't seem like the embargo has stopped Iraq from having weapons of mass destruction either.
