Thanks. Always nice when somebody agrees. I know there's little chance of converting the pro-war folks, but I can't help trying once in a while. Perhaps it's just a masochistic streak.

Your point about killing the people of Iraq is true. Indeed, war is a good thing, as long as the bombs fall on other countries. No doubt if the woe of war visited our own homeland many people would change their minds when they see buildings bombed and their friends and loved ones maimed and killed. People who argue in favor of war have a calloused disregard for the sanctity of human life. I recall when Desert Storm was in full operation under Bush senior. One video clip showed a bridge in Iraq being blown up by a bomb. Just before the bomb hit the bridge a car went over. The people in the car just missed being killed by seconds. Some in the audience laughed. I wonder if they would have laughed if their mother, brother, sister, or some other loved one was in that car?
At any rate the friends of liberty will oppose the upcoming war, but the war pigs are in power and we will have no choice but to witness the war when it happens. This saddens me very much, for many innocent people will die and be maimed by the war machine.
